MORE WAYS TO PAY

If you don’t have health insurance — don’t worry. We offer competitive and affordable uninsured rates (we’d love for you to compare to our competition!). Cost per visit may vary depending on your needs and our diagnosis. If you have any questions, feel free to stop in, or give us a call at 478-377-PLUS

Generally speaking, immediate/urgent care  are considerably less expensive than an emergency room visit. Hospitals will typically charge a facility fee in addition to a professional fee. According to USA Today, the average cost of an emergency room visit was $1389 in 2017. Med Plus Immediate Care visits start at $125 depending on specific care needed.

Insurance is not required to receive treatment at Med Plus Immediate Care. We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards. We generally require payment in full at time of service for private pay patients.

You may be charged depending on the circumstance. Time spent with a medical provider and medical advice is not free. If you are referred out of the clinic before being fully evaluated by a medical provider, you may not be charged for your visit. If you have been examined by the medical provider and it was determined that another form of treatment is necessary (emergency room or specialist) even when we are unable to treat the condition, you will be charged for the office visit. To better help yourself or a loved one, please call 911 or visit an emergency room for life-threatening symptoms or conditions.

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid at this time. We will gladly see patients with Medicaid insurance at our discounted cash prices. We are constantly evaluating which insurance programs to accept based on fair reimbursements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
